        I wanted to answer a few of your questions that have come up already. 

First, many are looking for the Game Track, its still here, under Travel tab, and then under “Resources”…. We will look for a more prominent place to feature it.  You can also click here to see it.

In terms of the update, no, this wasn’t just a software “update”.  The previous forums were a third party tool, the club did not own the tool, and it had a separate database, which is why on the site you logged in using your member number and last name, yet on the forums you used your user name and password.

The new forums allow for one single login for the boards and the site.  In addition to that, you can now comment on articles, product reviews, pretty much any piece of content on the site, you can participate in now. 

There is a PM Feature, click on anyone’s name in a thread, or just click on the “Message” button in their post, and you will be prompted with a message box to type in your message.  To check your messages, from the main forum page, you will see a box marked “Control Panel”, this will show you all received, and sent messages you have.  You will also receive an email notifying you of a message.

We will consider adding a moderator, but will also add a link to an email box that you can use to alert us of spam posts, etc.  Also, please continue to make suggestions to the boards, and to what kind of categories you would like to see on the boards.  This is your forum, we are listening, and will try to accommodate any request that we agree with.

As you've probably already noticed we have removed the ads on the right hand side of the forums. In some browsers the ads were overlapping posts, particularly if someone posted an oversized photo or a long line of unbreakable text (like a long hyperlink).  Many folks also complained that the ads were distracting.

So...we have removed the ads from the right hand side and expanded the width of the forum so that the readable portion takes up more of the screen.
